The short version
Ubiqlu is built by Adeel Imran and operated by Binary Code Barn UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (see the imprint). I collect only what I need to run the service, I never sell your data, and I never use your content to train AI models. If you ever want your data deleted, just ask.
What I collect
- Your account: name and email when you sign up.
- Your workspaces and posts: everything you create inside Ubiqlu.
- Social account tokens: when you connect Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn, I store an access token so I can post on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest and deleted the moment you disconnect.
- Media you upload: images and videos you attach to posts are stored in Cloudflare R2 so they can be published to your connected platforms.
- Basic usage logs: errors and actions, used only to keep the service running reliably.
- Billing: handled entirely by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.
Cookies and analytics
By default Ubiqlu sets only strictly necessary cookies: the ones Clerk needs to keep you signed in, plus a small entry that remembers your cookie choice.
I use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example where sign-ups drop off), but only if you agree. Analytics cookies and the Google Analytics script load exclusively after you click Accept in the cookie banner; if you decline or ignore the banner, nothing from Google loads. Google Consent Mode is configured so ad storage, ad personalization, and ad user data are always denied.
You can change your mind anytime via the Cookie settingslink in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops analytics immediately; to remove cookies Google already set, clear this site's cookies in your browser.
Who I share it with
Only the services needed to run Ubiqlu: Clerk (login), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare R2 (media storage), Stripe (payments), the Meta and LinkedIn APIs when publishing your content, and Google Analyticsonly if you opted in via the cookie banner. That's it.
Security
Social account tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. All traffic is over HTTPS. Billing data never touches my servers; Stripe handles it end to end.
Instagram and Facebook data deletion
If you connected your Instagram or Facebook account and want your data removed, go to Workspace Settings → Connected Accounts and disconnect it. Your token is deleted immediately.
If you remove Ubiqlu directly from your Instagram or Facebook app permissions, Meta notifies me automatically and I delete your token right away.
Need help? See the data deletion page.
Want everything deleted?
Email me at contact@binarycodebarn.com with your account email and I'll take care of it within 30 days. No hoops.
Changes
If anything important changes I'll update the date at the top. Continued use means you're okay with the current version.
